Part Time - Driver

About the role

We are seeking a Part Time Driver to join the team at MY FIRST SIGN PTE LTD. This is a part-time position based in the Admiralty North Region, offering flexibility for those seeking to balance work with other commitments. As a Driver, you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring timely and safe delivery of products to our customers. What you'll be doing

• Operating a vehicle safely and efficiently to deliver products to designated locations within the Admiralty North Region
• Planning and organising delivery routes to ensure on-time arrivals and optimal efficiency
• Loading, unloading and securing cargo safely in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, including documentation and customer confirmations
• Conducting basic vehicle maintenance checks and reporting any mechanical issues
• Providing excellent customer service during product deliveries and handling enquiries professionally
• Adhering to traffic regulations and maintaining a safe driving record
• Communicating regularly with the dispatch team regarding delivery status and any delays

What we're looking for

• A valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle class you will be operating
• Proven experience as a driver or in a similar role within the transport and logistics sector
• A clean driving record with no major traffic violations
• Strong knowledge of the Admiralty North Region or willingness to familiarise yourself with local routes
• Excellent time management and organisational skills to meet delivery schedules
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions
• Physical fitness to safely handle loading and unloading of cargo
• Reliability and a professional approach to work commitments
• Familiarity with GPS and route planning systems is advantageous
