Responsibilities

• Safely operate a van or other commercial vehicle to deliver goods or passengers according to scheduled routes.
• Ensure timely pickups and drop-offs, maintaining punctuality at all times.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers to confirm delivery details or address any issues promptly.
• Assist with loading and unloading items, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure a secure driving environment.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption for reporting purposes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or van driver is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record;
• Ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and loading/unloading cargo.
• Good communication skills for interacting with team members and customers professionally.

Pay: £12.80-£13.54 per hour

Expected hours: 7.0 – 20.0 per week
