Part-time Driver

Adult Daycare Driver

We’re looking for a reliable, friendly driver to transport adult daycare participants to and from our facility safely and on time.

Responsibilities:

• Safely drive participants to and from the facility on designated routes and schedules
• Help participants get on and off the vehicle, including securing wheelchairs if the vehicle has a lift
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations
• Keep accurate records of ridership, pickups, and any incidents
• Communicate with staff and caregivers about schedule changes or concerns
• Treat participants with kindness and respect

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Dependable and punctual
• Good communication skills
• Ability to assist riders getting on and off the vehicle
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it after hire
• Successful background check and drug screening

Preferred:

• Experience driving passengers, especially seniors or people with disabilities
• Familiarity with ADA transportation requirements
• Second language, such as Spanish

I cut all the personal care duties (hygiene, feeding, medication reminders, and the PCA experience requirement). I kept the boarding assistance and CPR/First Aid, since those are normal for passenger transport.
