Job Description:

Zachary Music Academy is looking for a passionate, reliable Part-Time Drum Instructor to join our team. This position starts part-time with the opportunity to grow into full-time as your student roster grows.

You will be teaching students age 4 and up, from beginners to more advanced players.

What We're Looking For in Your Resume:

Responsibilities:

• Teach private drum lessons to students ages 4 and up
• Create fun, age-appropriate lesson plans for young beginners through adults
• Teach fundamentals: rudiments, rhythm, groove, technique, and music reading
• Track student progress and communicate with parents/students
• Provide excellent customer service to families and students
• Maintain lesson room, equipment, and a professional studio environment
• Availability during our peak hours: Monday-Friday 5PM-7PM

Qualifications:

• Strong drum set proficiency
• Comfortable and patient working with young children (age 4+)
• Customer service experience required - you will interact with parents and students daily
• Reliable, punctual, professional, and positive attitude
• Ability to work in-person at 2060 Church St Ste E, Zachary, LA
• Reliable transportation

Compensation:
Starting pay is $7.25 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience and education level.

Schedule:

• Part-time to start
• Must have evening availability (5pm-7pm)
• Starts with two days out of the week. Opportunity for more hours as you grow
