Part time e-commerce and operations coordinator

At Utzon Equestrian, we are looking for a reliable, happy, and proactive person to join our team and help with the day-to-day running of our business.

This is a varied role where customer service, website management, and general business operations are the main priorities. You will also support our social media and marketing activities, bringing fresh ideas and creativity to the brand.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative, enjoys solving problems, has a good eye for detail, and is happy to help wherever needed. A positive attitude, a sense of humour, and a can-do mindset are just as important as experience.

Your responsibilitiesCustomer Service & E-Commerce

• Handle daily customer enquiries via email and other online channels, providing friendly, helpful, and professional service.
• Manage customer orders, returns, exchanges, and other customer-related matters.
• Maintain and update our Shopify website, including product listings, descriptions, images, and stock information.
• Ensure our website is accurate, up to date, and provides a smooth shopping experience.
• Identify and resolve everyday issues and help improve our online customer experience.

General Business Operations

• Assist with the day-to-day operations of the business and help ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
• Communicate with retailers, follow up on wholesale orders, and maintain good relationships with our retail partners.
• Coordinate practical tasks related to orders, stock, deliveries, and product information.
• Assist with warehouse tasks, including packing orders and organising stock, when needed.
• Keep track of ongoing tasks, follow up on details, and make sure nothing falls between the cracks.
• Take initiative and suggest improvements to everyday processes.

Social Media & Marketing Support

• Help maintain and update our Instagram and other social media channels.
• Create engaging posts, stories, and reels that reflect the personality of Utzon Equestrian.
• Come up with funny, creative, and relatable content that helps us connect with customers and grow our brand.
• Use Canva and Adobe Photoshop to create graphics and marketing materials.
• Support marketing campaigns, product launches, and other brand activities when needed.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is practical, proactive, organised, and positive, and who enjoys taking responsibility.

Ideally, you have:

• A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, e-commerce, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience and a strong understanding of how to grow a brand.
• Experience with Shopify and online customer service.
• Good computer skills and confidence working with websites, online systems, and everyday business tools.
• Knowledge of Canva and Adobe Photoshop, with an interest in creating engaging social media content.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused approach.
• The ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership of tasks.
• A flexible, hands-on attitude and a willingness to help with different aspects of the business.

Most importantly, you are someone who gets things done, enjoys helping people, and brings positive energy to the team. You don't need to know everything from day one, but you should be curious, willing to learn, and comfortable taking initiative.

Do you need to know about horses?

No. Horse knowledge is an advantage, but it is not essential. We are happy to teach you about our products and the equestrian world. Experience in e-commerce, customer service, and business operations is more important.

• A part-time position of 25–30 hours per week.
• A mainly work-from-home arrangement, with occasional on-site work in Dubai for warehouse tasks and other practical activities.
