Part-Time E-Commerce Order Packer & Inventory Associate

Duties

• Carefully pick and pack customer orders using barcode scanning technology and warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Operate material handling equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment safely and effectively
• Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods with manual handling techniques and adherence to safety protocols
• Maintain organized inventory by stocking shelves, conducting regular stock counts, and updating inventory management systems accurately
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying shipments against purchase orders and documentation
• Perform quality control checks on products before packing to ensure items meet company standards
• Follow safety procedures diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe lifting practices, and proper operation of heavy equipment

Requirements

• Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and barcode scanning devices
• Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely and consistently during packing and loading tasks
• Basic math skills for counting inventory, measuring packages, and verifying quantities accurately
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory management systems is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and quality standards are met
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
• Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors
