Golden State Rehab is a Joint Commission–accredited outpatient addiction and mental health treatment center in Westwood, Los Angeles (DHCS License #191643AP). We offer Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Evening IOP and Virtual IOP programs for adults facing substance use disorders, co-occurring conditions, trauma, PTSD, depression and anxiety. Our multidisciplinary team, including our Medical Director, Clinical Director, therapists and case managers, works together to deliver trauma-informed, evidence-based care.

The Role

We're looking for a part-time EMDR Therapist to provide trauma-focused individual therapy within our outpatient programs. You'll work alongside our clinical team to help clients process the trauma that often drives addiction and relapse. Hours are flexible (up to 20 hours per week), and we'll work around your availability, including daytime and evening options.

Responsibilities

• Provide EMDR therapy to clients in our PHP and IOP programs, following the standard 8-phase protocol
• Assess clients for EMDR readiness, including stabilization and resourcing
• Coordinate with primary therapists, psychiatry and case management on treatment planning
• Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation in our EHR (Kipu)
• Participate in case consultations and clinical team meetings as schedule allows
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, DHCS and Joint Commission standards

Requirements

• Active California license: LMFT, LCSW, LPCC or Licensed Psychologist
• Completed EMDRIA-approved EMDR basic training
• Experience treating trauma, PTSD and/or substance use disorders
• Strong clinical documentation skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach

Preferred

• EMDRIA Certification in EMDR
• Experience in PHP/IOP or dual-diagnosis treatment settings
• Familiarity with Kipu EHR
• Bilingual in Spanish

Pay: $55–$75 per hour, based on experience and licensure
