Part-time English Instructor

Position:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Instructor to teach English writing to middle and high school students. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about working with children, skilled at explaining concepts in an engaging way, and committed to fostering academic growth. This role involves delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to curriculum development.

Responsibilities:

• Teach small groups or individual students in English (middle & high school levels)
• Develop and deliver engaging lessons that meet students’ learning needs
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain a positive and encouraging classroom environment
• Collaborate with program staff to support student success

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in English (middle to high school level)
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, adaptable, and passionate about working with children
• Bachelor’s degree (or current university enrollment in a relevant field) is an asset

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
