Part Time Evening Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while managing food orders and transactions. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately.
• Process transactions using the cash register and point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety.
• Assist with bussing tables, ensuring cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues to enhance their dining experience.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide informed recommendations.
• Uphold cleanliness standards in both front-of-house and back-of-house areas.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Culinary skills or experience in food service can be advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
