Part-Time Rodent Exclusion Technician (1099 Contractor)

Job Summary

Alliance Pest Solutions is a locally owned, family-operated pest control company seeking a skilled and dependable Part-Time Rodent Exclusion Technician to assist with residential and commercial rodent prevention projects.

This is a hands-on, project-based opportunity focused on identifying and sealing rodent entry points, performing exclusion repairs, and helping protect customers' properties.

We are looking for someone with strong mechanical abilities, attention to detail, and pride in quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Inspect properties to identify rodent entry points and vulnerabilities.
• Seal openings around roof returns, plumbing penetrations, AC lines, vents, and foundations.
• Install metal flashing, hardware cloth, garage door seals, and other rodent exclusion materials.
• Perform minor structural repairs related to rodent entry points.
• Safely access roofs, attics, and crawl spaces when required.
• Install and check rodent traps as assigned.
• Document completed projects with before-and-after photographs.
• Paint or finish repaired areas to maintain a professional appearance.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding completed work.
• Follow applicable safety requirements and maintain quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Comfortable working on ladders, roofs, and in attics.
• Previous construction, roofing, handyman, maintenance, or exclusion experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to complete physically demanding work.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
• Ability to travel to customer locations throughout the service area.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to complete assigned projects independently.

Compensation & Work Availability
