Part-Time Executive Driver

Job Summary

GLE Scrap Metal is seeking a part-time Executive Driver to transport company executives and sales team members to meetings, customer visits, airports, and other company locations. The position will average approximately 30–40 hours per week, with flexibility for early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed. A company vehicle will be provided for all work-related driving.

This is a great opportunity for individuals with backgrounds in law enforcement, fire service, military, limousine/chauffeur services, including retirees seeking flexible work.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport executives and sales team members to meetings, customer visits, airports, and company locations
• Operate company vehicles, including larger passenger vehicles such as a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van
• Plan routes using GPS and monitor traffic to ensure punctual arrivals
• Coordinate pickups, scheduling changes, and trip details with management and passengers
• Perform basic pre-trip vehicle safety checks and promptly report maintenance needs
• Keep vehicles clean, fueled, and ready for scheduled trips
• Maintain confidentiality of executive conversations, business information, and travel schedules

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Comfortable driving larger vehicles, including Sprinter vans
• Available approximately 30–40 hours per week, with night and weekend flexibility as needed
• Comfortable with occasional longer drives and changes to the daily schedule
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and pre-employment physical examination
• Previous professional driving experience preferred but not required
