Part Time - Freight Handler

This role involves transporting freight within a dock environment, using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.

Key responsibilities include verifying freight documentation, securing cargo inside trailers, repairing damaged freight, and assisting with freight documentation and customer interactions.

Additional duties may involve hostling tasks and ensuring compliance with laws and company policies.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred experience in warehousing, freight handling, or forklift operations.

Must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and pushing freight, and possess basic communication and math skills.

Ideal candidates can work independently or as part of a team and have previous dock or warehouse experience.

Working conditions include exposure to weather, noise, fumes, and dust, with a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Compensation ranges from $27.02 to $32.17 per hour, with benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, 401(k), and more.
