Part-Time Front Desk & Studio Assistant

Pay: $18/hour | Part-Time

Sugar Junkie is looking for a part-time Front Desk Receptionist to join our team!

We're not your average sugaring studio, and we're definitely not looking for your average receptionist! Our front desk is the first face our clients see and the last person they talk to before leaving, so we need someone who can make every client feel welcome, comfortable, and excited to come back!

What You'll Be Doing

• Greeting clients with a smile and making them feel right at home.
• Answering phones, booking appointments, and keeping our schedule running smoothly.
• Checking clients in and out and handling payments.
• Helping clients rebook their next appointment before they leave.
• Talking up our amazing products, services, and specials.
• Keeping the front desk, lobby, treatment rooms, bathrooms, and common areas clean, organized, and looking fabulous.
• Helping with laundry, restocking supplies, cleaning, and other daily studio chores.
• Assisting with opening and closing duties.
• Learning to perform spray tans and providing that service to clients once trained.
• Supporting our sugaristas and helping keep the day running smoothly.
• Jumping in wherever needed! This isn't a sit-behind-the-desk-all-day kind of job. We're a team, and everyone pitches in to keep Sugar Junkie running smoothly!

Who We're Looking For

• Someone with a fun, friendly, outgoing personality who genuinely enjoys talking to people.
• A multitasker who can handle a busy front desk without getting frazzled.
• Someone dependable, punctual, and responsible.
• A self-starter who sees what needs to be done and DOES IT without being asked.
• Someone comfortable recommending products, promoting services, and encouraging clients to rebook.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable using computers and scheduling software.
• Someone willing to learn how to perform spray tans. No spray tanning experience necessary — we'll train you!
• A team player with a positive attitude and absolutely no drama!

Previous front desk, salon, spa, or customer service experience is a plus, but personality, work ethic, and attitude are just as important to us!
