Saturday Retail & Admin Assistant — Golf Lab

Location: Hilden Golf Centre, Hildenborough, KentHours: Saturdays, 10am–4pm (6 hours per week)Job type: Part-time

About the role

Golf Lab is looking for a reliable, organised assistant to work directly alongside the owner and help with the day-to-day running of our golf retail and custom-fitting business.

You’ll be an extra pair of hands in the shop, helping customers, pricing equipment, processing sales and keeping stock and admin up to date. This role would suit someone who is confident with computers, accurate with numbers and comfortable working in a customer-facing environment.

Your responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and helping with enquiries. Pricing equipment and preparing customer quotes. Using our till/POS system and processing payments. Checking deliveries and updating stock records. Updating product information and helping with computer-based admin. Keeping the shop tidy, organised and well presented. Supporting the owner with everyday tasks and using your initiative when things get busy.

What we’re looking for

• Reliable availability every Saturday from 10am–4pm. Confidence using computers and learning new software. Good attention to detail, particularly with prices and product information. A friendly, professional manner and clear communication. Organisation and the ability to follow tasks through. Retail, customer service or POS experience would be helpful. An interest in golf is an advantage, but specialist equipment knowledge is not essential.

Training on our products and systems will be provided. This position focuses on retail and administrative support; club fitting and regripping experience are not required.
