Part Time Groundskeeper/ Maintenance Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to help maintain the appearance, safety, and functionality of our property. This part-time role combines groundskeeping and light maintenance responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in a well-kept environment, and can work independently with minimal supervision.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain outdoor areas, including mowing, trimming, edging, raking, weeding, and general landscaping upkeep.
• Keep walkways, entrances, and common areas clean, orderly, and safe.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, basic carpentry, and replacing simple fixtures or hardware.
• Inspect property for issues and report maintenance needs, safety concerns, or equipment problems promptly.
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, snow and ice management, and garden or irrigation support as needed.
• Operate and maintain groundskeeping tools and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
• Support additional facility-related tasks as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, maintenance, or a related hands-on role is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment, and standard safety practices.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and complete tasks with attention to detail.
• Physical ability to perform outdoor and manual labor in varying weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills and a dependable, team-oriented approach.
• Flexibility to work part-time hours, including occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends if needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with lawn care equipment, power tools, and basic repair techniques.
• Experience with preventive maintenance or facility upkeep.
• Knowledge of safe chemical handling and landscaping best practices.
• Valid driver’s license may be required depending on site needs.

Work Environment
