Part-Time Handyman / Property Maintenance Technician

Marvelous Property Services is looking for an experienced and dependable Part-Time Handyman / Property Maintenance Technician to assist with repairs and maintenance at residential properties, rental units, condos, and other properties we service.

This is an as-needed, part-time position with the potential for additional hours as our company continues to grow. Hours will vary depending on current service requests.

Responsibilities May Include:

• Minor plumbing repairs
• Minor electrical repairs, such as replacing fixtures, switches, bulbs, and similar items
• Drywall patching and repairs
• Interior and exterior painting and touch-ups
• Door, lock, handle, and hardware repairs
• Appliance inspections and minor repairs
• Installing or replacing fixtures and household hardware
• Minor carpentry
• General property repairs
• Move-out and rental property maintenance
• Home inspection repair items
• Pressure washing and exterior property maintenance
• Troubleshooting maintenance issues
• Identifying additional repairs or damage while on-site
• Taking clear before-and-after photos and documenting completed work

Requirements:

• Previous handyman, property maintenance, construction, or repair experience required
• Must have your own hand tools and power tools necessary to complete assigned jobs
• Reliable transportation capable of transporting your tools and equipment
• Working smartphone with reliable service
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and complete repairs independently
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Professional appearance and communication
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to safely lift and carry materials, tools, and equipment
• Must understand when a repair requires a licensed professional and not attempt work outside your qualifications

Schedule:

This is an as-needed, part-time position and is not a guaranteed 40-hour workweek. Jobs are scheduled based on client and property needs throughout the Myrtle Beach/Grand Strand area.

We are looking for someone who is experienced, resourceful, and takes pride in doing a job correctly the first time. You should be comfortable working independently, diagnosing common property issues, and representing Marvelous Property Services professionally while working in our clients' homes and properties.

Experience:

Handyman/Property Maintenance: 2 years preferred

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
