Part Time Instructor

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Part Time Instructor to join The Little Medical School team. In this role, you will deliver engaging instruction across various subjects, fostering a positive learning environment that encourages student growth and success. Whether working with Pre K or Elementary aged children, you will utilize your expertise to follow the instructional curriculum, manage classrooms effectively, and support diverse learning needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in your community while maintaining flexible hours that fit your schedule.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Little Medical School curriculum tailored to different age groups and learning levels.
• Deliver engaging lessons either during the school day or after school ensuring clarity and student understanding
• Manage classroom environments to promote respectful behavior and active participation
• Incorporate effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning atmosphere
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate students with varying needs, including children, youth, and adult learners
• Communicate regularly with students and parents or guardians regarding progress and areas for improvement. You will work with the CEO to craft these weekly updates.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children or youth programs.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a supportive learning environment
• Excellent communication skills for working with students of diverse backgrounds
• Demonstrated ability to motivate students and adapt teaching methods as needed
• Relevant teaching certifications or credentials are preferred but not mandatory
