Part-Time IT Desktop Support Engineer

Working Schedule

Fixed part-time shift: Three days a week (permanent role)

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivering reliable on-site technical support for office workstations and laptops, ensuring optimal system performance through regular troubleshooting, software installation, and driver updates.

• Troubleshot and maintained daily office hardware, covering PCs, display monitors, printing equipment, peripherals, and network terminal connections.

• Supported user administration tasks, such as handling software login issues, configuring permission settings, and performing basic office system maintenance.

• Served as the primary point of contact for timely and efficient ad-hoc on-site IT assistance for internal employees.

• Acted as a liaison to the remote IT department, coordinating the handoff and follow-up of complex, unresolved technical incidents.

• Responsible for providing support to approximately 100 users

Job Requirements

• Work Eligibility: Must hold a valid Hong Kong work authorization with full legal status (visa sponsorship is not available for this part-time position).

• Communication Skills: Good command of Cantonese and basic English communication skills

• Technical Competency: Possess basic to intermediate expertise in Windows and macOS environments, common office software troubleshooting, and peripheral upkeep.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Capable of independently diagnosing typical IT faults and resolving everyday desktop issues efficiently.

• Soft Skills: Demonstrates strong reliability, patience, attention to detail, excellent customer service orientation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Availability: Committed to working on-site in Quarry Bay punctually three days a week on a regular basis.

• Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
