Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across designated areas.
• Handle chemical agents safely during cleaning processes, adhering strictly to safety protocols and handling procedures.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools to maintain floors and surfaces in pristine condition.
• Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely when moving furniture, supplies, or equipment.
• Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting restrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces regularly.
• Follow safety guidelines during all custodial activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Skills
• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial or residential cleaning practices.
• Skilled in the safe handling of chemical agents used for cleaning and sanitation purposes.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment including floor buffers, vacuums, mops, and other custodial tools.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently, including heavy lifting according to safe lifting practices.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on sanitation, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when necessary.
