Part- Time Janitorial Technician

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. The Janitor will be responsible for both commercial and residential spaces, contributing to the overall upkeep of the facilities.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
• Maintain floors through various methods including buffing and waxing as needed.
• Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and sanitized regularly.
• Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with company policies.
• Conduct minor maintenance tasks and report any significant repairs needed to management.
• Assist with industrial cleaning as required, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Provide porter services by maintaining cleanliness in common areas and assisting with event setups if necessary.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing duties.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is a plus.
• Experience in floor care techniques such as buffing, waxing, and stripping is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
