Duties

• Deliver tailored tutoring sessions in the subject and grade-level areas that match your background
• Develop and adapt materials to meet individual student needs and learning styles
• Utilize learning technology tools to enhance instruction and engagement during sessions
• Create lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and student goals
• Manage session dynamics effectively to maintain a positive learning environment
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and parents
• Support students with special education needs by implementing appropriate accommodations and strategies

Requirements

• Proven experience in tutoring, teaching, or working with children in a classroom or childcare setting
• Strength in one or more subject areas (e.g., math, reading, writing) and/or grade bands — you're welcome to specialize rather than cover everything
• Familiarity with learning technology platforms and digital educational resources
• Excellent communication skills to connect with students
• Ability to foster an inclusive, supportive atmosphere
• Background in early childhood education or preschool experience is a plus
• Knowledge of special education practices and accommodations for diverse learners is desirable
