Part-time Kitchen Aide

Are you passionate about providing nutritious meals in a dynamic school environment? GreenWood Charter School in Harrisville is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare meals for approximately 400 students and staff members daily.
• Assist with daily cleaning tasks in the kitchen and lunchroom.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations.
• Adhere to safe food handling practices.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Possession of a valid Food Handlers Permit.
• Availability for 10-15 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexible scheduling.
• Must pass a fingerprinted background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a commercial kitchen or food service environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: Dependent upon experience.
