Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing ingredients and basic food items according to established recipes and standards
• Support cooking processes by following instructions from chefs or kitchen managers
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment
• Ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies, adhering to safety and hygiene regulations
• Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all team members
• Support inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred
• Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety protocols is advantageous
• Experience in serving or assisting in a busy dining environment is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £12.71 per hour
