Kitchen Assistant / Kitchen Porter (KP)

Part-Time | 16 Hours Per Week

Friday & Saturday: 5pm - 10pm | Sunday: 1pm - 7pm

The Globe Inn, Calthwaite, is a traditional village pub with a passion for great food, friendly service and supporting people who want to learn and grow. We're looking for a Kitchen Assistant/Kitchen Porter to join our expanding kitchen team.

This role is perfect for someone who loves food and would like to get a foot in the door of the catering industry. Whether you're considering a future as a chef, looking to gain kitchen experience, or interested in an apprenticeship, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting our Head Chef with day-to-day kitchen duties
• Preparing ingredients and assisting with food preparation
• Plating dishes ready for service
• Preparing cold starters and desserts
• Keeping the kitchen, equipment and work areas clean and organised
• Assisting with pot washing and general kitchen cleaning
• Helping maintain high food hygiene and health & safety standards
• Being a key part of a hardworking and friendly kitchen team

• No previous experience required as full training will be provided
