Part time Kitchen Cook / Chef

Job Overview:

Hourly rate dependent upon experience and ability. You will also receive an equal share of credit card tips. No administration costs are deducted from these, with 100% going to the staff

We are seeking a skilled and passionate individual to join our team as a part time Cook / chef. You will play a crucial role in our kitchen, assisting with food preparation and ensuring the highest standards of food safety. If you have a love for good food and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of meals according to recipes and portion sizes
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
• Collaborate with the chef and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow
• Help with stocking and organizing ingredients and supplies
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and workstations
• Assist in creating dishes for service
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Skills:

• Strong knife skills, an abundance of energy and a desire to learn
• Familiarity with food preparation and kitchen equipment
• Understanding of food safety practices and procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
