Part-time Kitchen Hand

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Hand to join our team at an exciting brand-new venue. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the journey from day one, supporting our kitchen team and helping to create exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

This is a part-time position working a minimum of 15 rostered hours per week. Flexibility is essential, with availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays in line with operational requirements.

As a Kitchen Hand, your main responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the preparation of ingredients and menu items
• Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in the kitchen area
• Washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
• Supporting the kitchen team with various tasks as required
• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times

What you will bring:

• Experience in a commercial kitchen environment
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Capability to follow instructions and carry out tasks diligently
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
