Duties

• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans to uphold hygiene standards
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or preparing ingredients under supervision
• Support the kitchen team in organizing supplies and ensuring all equipment is clean and functional
• Help with waste disposal and recycling to keep the kitchen tidy and compliant with safety regulations
• Ensure all workstations are sanitized regularly and adhere to health and safety guidelines
• Support serving staff by delivering prepared food items promptly and efficiently within the restaurant or hotel setting
• Assist in setting up dining areas or cleaning after service to maintain a welcoming environment for guests

Skills

• Experience in food preparation, cooking, or working in a restaurant environment is highly desirable
• Knowledge of kitchen operations, including cleaning procedures and basic culinary tasks
• Previous experience in hospitality, hotel kitchens, or restaurant settings is a plus

Pay: £12.71 per hour
