Part time Lab tech_Environmental

Utilize aseptic techniques when performing microbiological/chemical testing

Ability to perform serial dilutions and enumerate target organisms

Prepare, sterilize and perform QC checks media

Maintain and verify general laboratory equipment

Think independently as well as work in a team

Be detailed oriented and ready for a challenge

Ability to work in a dynamic environment with variety of odors

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors or Associate degree in any science related discipline or equivalent laboratory experience

Bonus _ Experience with Mold Identification and Counting using Microscopy

Ability to lift at least 20pounds

Experience with Microsoft office (Word, excel, outlook)

Available to work some weekends, day or evening hours

Experience working in a laboratory preferred but willing to train

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Internship

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
