Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Role: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient-centered care by performing age-appropriate interventions, assisting with exams, treatments, and coordinating tests and follow-up care.
• Assist in patient education, promoting self-care and caregiver support using teach-back methods.
• Coordinate care with RNs and other team members, reporting changes in patient condition.
• Prepare documentation accurately within established guidelines.
• Serve as a preceptor for new colleagues and participate in staff education and ongoing professional development.
• Perform routine nursing procedures, including medication administration and port access, under RN supervision.
• Maintain compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED and a valid LPN license.
• CPR/BLS certification required upon hire.
• Preferred experience in healthcare, especially in oncology, outpatient, or ambulatory settings.
• Strong assessment, clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficient in computer skills and problem-solving.
