Line Cook
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation: Chopping vegetables, butchering meats, preparing sauces, and ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking.
Cooking: Executing dishes by grilling, frying, sautéing, or baking, following specific recipes and presentation guidelines.
Station Maintenance: Setting up and stocking stations with necessary supplies before service and cleaning up at the end of shifts.
Quality Assurance: Ensuring that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion.
Compliance: Adhering to nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards to maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Culinary Knowledge: Understanding various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Attention to Detail: Precision in executing assigned tasks to ensure consistency and quality in every dish.
Teamwork: Ability to work cohesively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Time Management: Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience: Previous experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook required.
