Part time Local CDL A Driver

Sheehy Express is hiring dependable part-time CDL A drivers for local freight work. You’ll be home daily, paid weekly, and supported by a dispatch team that knows drivers are the reason the freight moves.

What This Job Offers

This is a part-time local CDL A position with daily home time. It’s a strong fit for experienced drivers looking to supplement their income, reduce their weekly hours, or maintain a more flexible driving schedule.

Drivers are paid weekly based on whichever amount is greater for the work completed that week:

$28 per hour or $0.65 per mile

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll operate a CDL A vehicle on local routes, make timely freight deliveries, complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, follow DOT and company safety procedures, use ELD systems properly, and represent Sheehy Express professionally with customers and the team.

Part-time schedules and available routes may vary based on freight needs and driver availability.

What We’re Looking For

Qualified applicants should have:

• A valid Class A CDL
• A clean driving record
• A current FedMed card
• Experience using ELD systems
• At least 2 years or 200,000 miles of professional driving experience
