Experienced Trackhoe Operator / Excavation Operator

Pay: $24–$28 per hour, based on experience
Job Type: Part-time to start, with opportunity to become full-time

Lawson Land & Construction, LLC is looking for an experienced Trackhoe Operator to join our team. This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must have previous operating and grading experience and be able to work independently and efficiently on residential job sites.

The right candidate must have experience operating a trackhoe/excavator, be able to cut in swales between homes, and be comfortable using a grade laser to establish and maintain proper grade. You should understand drainage, elevations, and finish grading and be able to complete work accurately without requiring constant instruction.

Requirements:

• MUST have previous trackhoe/excavator operating experience
• MUST have experience cutting in swales between residential homes
• MUST know how to properly use a grade laser
• Strong understanding of grading, drainage, and elevations
• Able to work safely around homes, utilities, equipment, and other workers
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow job-site instructions
• Must take pride in producing clean, accurate work

This position will begin part-time. After approximately 30 days, the right applicant may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time position based on performance, dependability, and workload.

Starting pay is $24–$28/hour depending on experience.
