Job Summary

As a Part Time Maintenance team member, you’ll help keep hotel facilities, guest areas, and equipment safe and in working order. You’ll handle a varied mix of repairs and routine maintenance, communicate clearly with guests and colleagues, and help prioritize work throughout the property.

Responsibilities

• Perform building interior maintenance, facilities equipment maintenance, and general maintenance using hand tools.
• Complete electrical work and electrical equipment repair; use schematics and an ohmmeter when appropriate.
• Maintain and repair plumbing systems, HVAC systems, and other facilities equipment.
• Handle carpentry, welding, and maintenance painting, including residential painting tasks as needed.
• Document work in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), track maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) needs, and provide responsive customer service.

Experience

• Mechanical knowledge and practical maintenance experience are important; electrical experience and familiarity with programmable logic controllers are useful.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing system maintenance and repair, facilities maintenance, and electrical equipment repair is preferred.
• English communication skills are needed to understand work requests and coordinate with the team.
• Supervising experience and leadership skills are helpful when coordinating tasks or supporting others.

Pay: $17.00 per hour
