Part-Time Marina Handyman

Part-Time Marina HandymanStella Marinas is seeking a dependable, hands-on Part-Time Marina Handyman to support the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of our Swan Creek (Rock Hall, MD) and Sassafras Harbor Marina locations (Georgetown, MD) . This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, solving problems, and taking pride in keeping a property looking and operating its best.The ideal candidate has basic skills in finish carpentry and plumbing along with a willingness to tackle a variety of maintenance projects. Marina experience is helpful but not required.Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the marina and its facilities
• Complete basic finish carpentry projects, including repairs to doors, trim, cabinetry, docks, decking, and other wood components
• Perform basic plumbing repairs, including faucets, toilets, water lines, fixtures, and minor leaks
• Repair and maintain marina buildings, restrooms, docks, walkways, common areas, and other facilities
• Perform painting, drywall repair, caulking, pressure washing, and other general maintenance tasks
• Assist with seasonal marina maintenance, opening and closing procedures, and storm preparation
• Identify maintenance issues and communicate larger or specialized repair needs to management
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other maintenance equipment
• Assist marina staff with other maintenance and property-improvement projects as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in general maintenance, handyman work, construction, facilities maintenance, or a related field
• Basic finish carpentry skills
• Basic plumbing skills
• Ability to diagnose problems and determine appropriate repairs
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work safely around boats, docks, tools, and marina equipment

Marina, boating, construction, or property-maintenance experience is a plus.ScheduleThis is a part-time position, with a flexible schedule based on marina maintenance needs.
