Part-Time Marketing Specialist

We're looking for an experienced marketing professional to join our team in a flexible part-time position of around 15 hours per week.

This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in producing quality work, and is looking for a position that can fit alongside other priorities in life. You'll have the freedom to bring ideas to the table, contribute meaningfully to our marketing activities, and work with a team that values results over time spent at a desk.

About the Role

This is a flexible part-time position supporting a broad range of marketing activities across the business.

You'll work closely with our Marketing Coordinator and external partners to keep projects moving, create and publish content, maintain our online presence, and contribute ideas that improve how we communicate with customers.

This role would suit someone who has previous marketing experience and is looking for work that fits alongside other commitments. You may have stepped away from a full-time corporate role, raised a family, or simply be looking for a more balanced and flexible way of working.

We're looking for someone who can bring their experience, creativity, and initiative to the role without needing extensive training or supervision.

Key Responsibilities of the Role

• Support the bi‑annual pharmacy brochure by gathering product information, laying up pages, and proofing content to ensure accuracy before print.
• Liaise between our designer and content writer to ensure all customer‑facing marketing materials are engaging and up to date.
• Support ecommerce activity by updating product information, maintaining contacts and preparing content for the monthly ecommerce mailer.
• Prepare and publish website and customer content, including blogs, product updates, landing pages, direct customer comms and industry content.
• Maintain website content and contribute ideas for ongoing improvements.
• Manage and schedule social media content across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
• Support other marketing projects and administrative tasks as required.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous marketing experience in an in-house or agency environment.
• Strong written communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Confidence managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Experience working with digital marketing platforms, websites, email marketing systems, or content management tools.
• A proactive and organised approach to work.
• The ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• A willingness to contribute ideas and improve existing processes.
• A good sense of humour and an appreciation for being part of a close-knit team.

Experience with platforms such as Shopify, ActiveCampaign, Adobe products, ahrefs, Squarespace, or similar systems would be beneficial but isn't essential.
