Part-Time Media Coordinator

Formaggio Kitchen is looking for a creative individual with a passion for food, storytelling, and customer service to join our marketing team. This is an in-person, part-time position (~18-21 hours per week) based in Cambridge, MA. Candidates must have availability to work shifts on ~3 days per week on days falling between Tuesday-Saturday.

Expectations/skills needed:

Photography

• Experience taking/editing photos on an iPhone
• A creative/artistic eye for photographing (knowing what lighting looks best, angles to shoot at, rule of thirds, etc.)
• Product photos for the website (working with a team member to find the correct products in the store)
• Photos of staff, events, products, for social media
• Occasional styled photography of food, gifts, etc.

Videography

• Experience shooting iPhone videos and using a wireless microphone
• Experience editing videos (Edits, CapCut, Splice, etc.)
• Coordinating with on-camera talent to schedule shoots
• Comfortable directing and prompting on-camera talent
• A critical eye and ear for determining if footage is usable or needs to be reshot
• Ability to come up with creative ideas for videos

Nice to have, but not essential:

• Creative, storytelling, and technical writing skills for marketing copy and social media captions
• An eye for digital design
• Technical digital design experience (Canva, Photoshop)
• Knowledge, interest, and/or experience with the gourmet food and/or cheese world
• Comfortable being on camera and/or using their voice as a VO
• Knowledgeable about social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok) and social media trends

Please note this is only available as an on-site position, no remote work is available. There could be more hours if the candidate were open to working in other departments at the shop.

Compensation: This position is hourly, $20-$22hr., commensurate with experience.
