Part-Time MOA

Yarrow Medical is seeking a part-time MOA to join our busy medical practice.

Hours: 8:00-4:00 (3-4 days a week)

• Availability for holiday and sick-day coverage is required.
• Additional shifts may be required as needed.

Yarrow Medical is a busy office with 6 family physicians,1 Pediatrician and an Immigration Clinic. We are currently using Oscar EMR software.

Certified MOA or medical office experience would be preferred for this position.Experience with Oscar EMR would also be ideal, but willing to train the right candidate.
The successful candidate should be reliable, well-organized, efficient, and exhibit a professional approach in dealings with patients/children and work colleagues. Must be able to multi- task and enjoy working as a team in a fast- paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient referrals, and scheduling appointments using Oscar EMR systems to ensure efficient office operations.
• Manage patient care-forwarding consults, referrals, follow up appointments
• Assist with patient intake and maintain accurate medical records.
• Handle billing and insurance claims, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients.
• Support medical staff with administrative tasks as needed, contributing to a smooth workflow in the medical office.
