Part Time Nanny

Root & Nest is looking for two part-time nannies for private families in Sevenoaks on an after-school basis. Immediate start.

Hours: 3:00pm–8:00pm | 20 hrs/week
Pay: £20–£30 per hour (dependent on experience)
Location: Sevenoaks and surrounding areas
Contract: Employed directly by the client

The Role
Supporting families with school pick-ups, after-school care, homework help, meal prep and evening routines. A great fit for someone reliable, warm with children, and comfortable taking initiative.

Responsibilities

• School collections and drop-offs
• After-school childcare
• Homework, reading and learning support
• Transport to clubs, sports and activities
• Preparing children's meals
• Bath and bedtime routine support
• Preparing school bags/uniforms for the next day
• Children's laundry and room tidying
• Light household reset (kitchen, play areas, shared spaces)

Requirements

• Previous childcare experience in a school or private setting
• Must drive – responsible for school pick-ups/drop-offs (own car or client-provided car; please specify which in your application)
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
• Right to work in the UK
• Strong references

Candidates for the advertised roles will be employed directly by the client household, not by Root & Nest, which acts as a support service connecting experienced nannies and family lifestyle assistants with HNW families.

Pay: £20.00-£30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 25.0 per week
