CHOICE for GovCon

Give your employees real choice and flexibility

About Us CVRD Health is a fast-growing health tech startup based in Miami, building modern software that makes employee benefits simple for companies and their workers. We're a small, scrappy team that moves fast, and we're growing quickly, which means there's a lot to build and a lot of room to grow with us.

‍

The role

This is a part-time role, about 15-20 hours a week, spread across 2–3 days in our Miami office. You'll have some flexibility in building your own schedule within a standard 8-6 workday, so it's a great fit if you're juggling other part-time work, school, kids, or just want a job that doesn't take over your whole week.

Day to day, you're keeping our office running. Mail, supplies, vendors, errands, a little bit of everything, plus picking up personal-assistant type tasks that need someone physically here. It's not a glamorous job, but it's an important one. This role is a lot about making life easier for the leaders in the org, and that takes someone who's genuinely thoughtful. The kind of person who thinks a step ahead: if there's a group meeting in the conference room later, you make sure it's clean before anyone has to ask. If visitors are coming in, you make sure desks are set up and the office is ready. If something looks a little off, you notice and just take care of it.

We're looking for someone eager, resourceful, and not precious about the type of work. If something needs doing, you just do it, without waiting to be asked twice.

This role does have the potential to become a full-time role for the right person (if desired).

‍

What you'll do

  • Office upkeep — keep common areas and the kitchen clean and stocked, tidy up throughout the day, make sure the space is presentable and ready for whoever's coming through
  • Onsite New Hire & Team support - setting up a workspace, making sure the team has the supplies/tools/equipment needed and it’s setup for optimal performance
  • Mail & deliveries — collect and sort mail and packages, scan and route documents, handle outgoing shipping
  • Supplies & groceries — keep an eye on what we're low on and order office supplies, snacks, and groceries before we run out
  • Vendor coordination — be the point person on the ground for cleaners, maintenance, IT/equipment vendors, and other service providers
  • Errands & logistics — run local errands (pickups, drop-offs, store runs) as needed
  • Light PA support — occasional personal-like tasks for leadership that need someone in person, like coordinating a delivery or scheduling an appointment
  • Ad hoc support — jump in on whatever comes up that week; this role will grow and shift as we do

What you bring

  • Based in Miami and able to be in-office 2–3 days a week
  • Reliable and comfortable with hands-on, in-person work
  • Proactive — you notice what needs doing before someone has to point it out
  • No task feels beneath you
  • Solid organizational and written communication skills
  • Trustworthy with sensitive mail, documents, and office access
  • Prior experience in office admin, front-desk, or a similar support role

The kind of person who thrives here

  • You like being useful, and you don't need someone telling you what to do next
  • You take ownership of the small things and follow through without reminders
  • You're calm and flexible when priorities shift during the day
  • You genuinely like creating order. A stocked kitchen, a clean office, a sorted mail pile, that kind of thing makes you happy
  • You think about the people around you and how to make their day a little easier
