Local family owned business seeking qualified part time, retired driver to do local routes and possible interstate route to NJ/MD/DE. Loading and unloading required with electric and regular pallet jacks. Must pass background check and drug test.

We are seeking a Part Time On Call CDL Class A Driver to join our transportation team. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a well-established family business committed to safety and service excellence.

Number of Drivers Needed: 1 part time (preferably retired)

Minimum Years of Experience: 2 -3 years

How often are Drivers Home: Daily

Types of Runs:

Local - yes

Regional - yes

Compensation: $12.50/hour for on call and $25/hour when there are loads that need moved. Paid 40 hours per week.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on freight transportation.
• Proficiency in GPS navigation systems for route planning and execution.
• Understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT standards.
• Ability to manually handle freight safely during loading and unloading processes.
• Strong driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with delivery driving preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing logs, cargo documentation, and route schedules.
• Ability to operate within the scope of over-the-road (OTR) driving routes reliably.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and clients effectively.
