Job Summary

Join our dynamic security team as a Part Time (On Demand) Unarmed Security Guard, where your vigilance and commitment to safety will ensure a secure environment for all. This flexible role offers the opportunity to work on an as-needed basis, providing essential security services across various locations. You will be responsible for monitoring premises, controlling access points, and responding promptly to incidents, all while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help uphold safety standards and foster a sense of security within the community.

Responsibilities May Include but not limited to:

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards.
• Control access points using security protocols and access control systems to verify authorized personnel and visitors.
• Observe surveillance footage and perform CCTV monitoring to detect unusual behavior or security breaches.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies by following established procedures, including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and emergency response protocols.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security concerns, incidents, or violations observed during shifts.
• Manage conflict de-escalation techniques and conflict management strategies to handle tense situations professionally.
• Standing long hours on post and being physically capable is a MUST.
• Some shifts can be from 12-16 hours, our shortest shifts are 4 hour minimum pay.
• No cell phone use on post unless authorized as a part of the post requirements.
• Be on standby for last minute coverage, or backup coverage as needed.

Things to know about this position:

Type of jobs may include - High Value Asset Transportation, Event Security (concerts, football games, volleyball games, private parties, etc) , Loss Prevention.

You should own a suit for certain jobs, black well-fitting suit with a white shirt, and a black shirt to be prepared. We get opportunities to work in Las Vegas NV quite often for things like Formula 1 and other conventions, so acquiring a PILB NV work card is also recommended. We do NOT hire LAZY people. If you aren't willing to work when contacted we will move on very quickly. We manage our roster according to who shows up and the quality of work you do, as well as qualifications and willingness to learn and grow.

Pay is 1099, contractor pay, and will be completed when the client pays, usually within a week or 2 weeks of completion of the job, unless it's ongoing, then pay is bi-weekly on our payroll schedule.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Certification in first aid
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to write clear incident reports and interact effectively with the public.
• Familiarity with emergency response procedures and compliance with security regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure and manage conflict effectively in diverse situations.
