Sapphire Shine Cleaning Co. is seeking a reliable, organized, and adaptable Part-Time Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our residential cleaning and short-term rental business.

This is a hybrid role that combines administrative support, property operations, errands, laundry coordination, and occasional hands-on cleaning assistance. Some tasks can be completed remotely, while others will require local travel throughout the Atlanta metro area.

The ideal candidate is dependable, communicates well, can work independently, and is comfortable switching between office-style tasks and field support as needed.

Responsibilities may include:

• Answering and returning business calls during assigned hours
• Responding to routine customer, guest, and team messages
• Assisting with scheduling cleaning appointments and short-term rental turnovers
• Updating calendars, task-management systems, property notes, and operational records
• Following up on appointments, invoices, or other administrative items
• Tracking cleaning supplies and helping coordinate restocking
• Picking up or delivering supplies when needed
• Completing laundromat runs for select properties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens
• Completing administrative work during laundry cycles when practical
• Assisting with property inspections, setup, restocking, and quality-control checks
• Occasionally accompanying the owner to properties
• Assisting with residential or short-term rental cleanings when additional support is needed
• Helping make beds, restock amenities, vacuum, mop, wipe surfaces, clean bathrooms or kitchens, and prepare properties for guest arrival
• Helping communicate updates between the owner and cleaning team
• Taking on additional operational responsibilities as the business grows

This is not primarily a cleaning position, but applicants must be comfortable occasionally assisting with cleaning and property preparation.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Comfortable traveling throughout the Atlanta metro area
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable using email, calendars, smartphones, and business apps
• Able to work independently and follow detailed instructions
• Strong attention to detail
• Professional and trustworthy with confidential business and customer information
• Comfortable entering residential properties
• Able to perform light physical work associated with cleaning, laundry, and property setup
• Administrative, hospitality, short-term rental, property management, or professional cleaning experience is a plus but not required

Schedule & Compensation

This position will begin at approximately 5–10 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional hours and increased responsibility as the business grows.

Starting pay is $15 per hour. Business-related mileage is reimbursed separately. Required training and all assigned work time are paid.

Some scheduling flexibility is available, but certain assignments may need to be completed around guest check-ins, cleaning appointments, or other time-sensitive property needs.

There is potential for the right person to grow into a larger operations or supervisory role over time.
