Location: Bradford, Ontario

Schedule: Part-Time (Evenings and occasional weekends)

Ownership: Privately owned, optician-led small business

Bradford Eyecare is a busy practice that prides itself on using state-of-the-art equipment to deliver top-notch patient care. Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive eye exams to evaluate vision and identify ocular conditions
• Prescribe corrective lenses and offer guidance on eye care
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients on effective eye health practices
• Accurately document patient information using medical terminology
• Provide specialized care for pediatric and senior patients
• Use Epic or similar electronic health record systems for documentation

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
• Valid state licensure to practice optometry
• Deep understanding of optical principles and practices
• Experience in eyewear and contact lens sales is a plus
• Proficiency in optometric medical terminology
• Compassionate care for patients of all ages, including pediatric and senior care
