This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of an organisation’s digital communications without committing to a full-time working week. You’ll bring structure to its content programme, work closely with experienced subject-matter experts and see the direct impact of your ideas across multiple channels.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You’ll own the digital content calendar and create a more proactive, audience-led approach across email, web and social media. Working within a small team, you’ll identify strong stories, turn specialist knowledge into accessible content and ensure each message reaches the right audience.
This role offers more substance than a typical part-time coordination position. You’ll have the trust to improve how content is planned, produced and measured, while working flexible hours across three full days or spread across five days.
- Build and manage a forward-looking content calendar and editorial process
- Turn expert knowledge into clear, useful content for practical audiences
- Create and repurpose newsletters, emails, web copy and social content
- Produce polished everyday visual assets and brief specialists when required
- Track performance and use insights to strengthen future content
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You’ll bring a few years of hands-on experience across digital content, marketing or communications. Your background could be within an agency, in-house team, publisher, membership organisation or not-for-profit environment.
You’re proactive, curious and comfortable creating momentum without waiting for a detailed brief. You’ll communicate plainly, build trusted internal relationships and care about understanding the message and audience before producing content.
- Experience planning and delivering content across email, web and social media
- Strong writing, editing and content-repurposing capability
- Confidence managing stakeholders, calendars and competing priorities
- Working knowledge of CMS, analytics and visual tools such as Canva
- A friendly, thoughtful and commercially aware approach
