Part-Time Pharmacy Technician Position

We are looking to add a part-time or full-time pharmacy technician to our independent pharmacy team! We pride ourselves on providing fast and friendly service to our patients and serving them in any way we can. The ideal candidate will be proficient at multi-tasking, problem-solving, and providing excellent customer service. As a technician, you will be responsible for providing quality service to customers to create a positive patient experience. Accuracy and efficiency are a must for this position. Willing to work around college schedules, preferably need help in afternoon to evenings.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting customers via phone and in person. This includes but is not limited to refilling prescriptions for patients, assisting with finding over-the-counter items, answering questions, and more.
• Pulling medications from stock shelves and ensuring the drug and amount match the information on patient prescription labels.
• Entering patient information into computer - including accurately refilling prescriptions, filling new prescriptions, and updating patient information.
• Stocking shelves and reordering items as needed on a daily basis.
• Counting and filling prescriptions with 100% accuracy.
• Working with other team members to problem solve and to ensure smooth workflow.
• Process prescriptions in a timely manner - efficiency and accuracy is key.

Job Requirements:

• 1+ year of previous pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Advanced computer skills needed
• Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
• High School Diploma or GED (Must be 18 or older to apply)
• Registered with the State of Georgia (This includes passing a background check and fingerprinting)
• Upbeat attitude to provide customers with excellent service
