Part Time Pediatric Speech Therapist

Responsibilities:

• Conduct client assessments to determine speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients
• Provide therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate client care
• Educate clients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech and language
• Ability to work with a team
• Familiarity with medical terminology used in speech therapy
• Excellent client care skills, including empathy and active listening
• Proficiency in conducting speech therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques
• Experience in case management, including coordinating care with other healthcare professionals
• Ability to assess clients of all ages, including pediatrics
• Knowledge of protocols and procedures related to speech therapy
