Part-time Personal Support Worker (PSW) - Goderich

Invisible-Care provides personalized attendant care services to individuals within their homes and communities. We support clients with a variety of physical, cognitive, and psycho-emotional needs through an individualized approach to care.

We are currently looking for compassionate, reliable, and motivated Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our growing community team.

This is a part-time/casual independent contractor role providing one-on-one support to clients in their homes and communities. Assignments are matched based on location, availability, experience, and client needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide support with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility as required.
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders and routine cues/prompts.
• Support clients with community activities, appointments, and errands as required.
• Provide companionship, reassurance, and general safety supervision.
• Encourage client independence while providing appropriate assistance.
• Observe and report changes in the client’s physical, cognitive, or emotional well-being.
• Complete accurate shift notes and required documentation after each visit.
• Follow the client’s care plan, scheduled hours, and company policies.
• Communicate concerns or significant changes promptly to the Care Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience will be considered
• Demonstrated experience in senior care, home care, or caregiving roles
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to caregiving
• Ability to perform light cleaning, meal preparation, and other household tasks effectively
• Must own a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
