In this role, you will collaborate with licensed physical therapists to deliver high-quality rehabilitative care across diverse settings, including inpatient facilities, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, home health environments, and acute care units. Your energetic approach and compassionate patient care will help facilitate optimal functional outcomes for individuals of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics. This position offers flexible scheduling to accommodate your availability while making a meaningful difference in patients’ lives.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing personalized care plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.
• Provide hands-on therapies such as trigger point therapy, therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and modalities to promote healing and mobility.
• Support patients through education on physiotherapy techniques, discharge planning, and injury prevention strategies.
• Monitor patient progress and document responses to treatment accurately in medical records.
• Engage with patients across various settings—including inpatient units, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, home health visits, and acute care—to ensure consistent quality of care.
• Maintain a safe environment by adhering to all safety protocols and infection control procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and facilitate smooth transitions between care settings.
• Some Marketing will be involved

Qualifications

• Current certification or licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in accordance with state regulations.
• Demonstrated experience or familiarity with inpatient and outpatient physiotherapy practices.
• Proficiency in developing and modifying care plans for diverse populations including geriatrics and pediatrics.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages and collaborate seamlessly within multidisciplinary teams.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
