About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Part Time Physics Tutor to join the REAL SCHOLAR ACADEMY team in Seri Kembangan, Selangor. This is a part-time position that offers flexibility whilst making a meaningful impact on secondary school students' understanding of physics. As a Part Time Physics Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging physics lessons, supporting students in their academic development, and fostering a love for science. This role is integral to our mission of providing quality educational support and helping students achieve their academic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging physics lessons tailored to secondary school curriculum standards
• Assess student understanding through formative and summative assessments
• Provide constructive feedback to students on their progress and areas for improvement
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence
• Prepare teaching materials, worksheets, and resources that enhance the learning experience
• Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with parents and academy management regarding academic performance
• Support students in preparing for examinations and developing effective study techniques
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
• Collaborate with other tutors and staff to ensure consistent educational quality

What we're looking for

• A degree in Physics, Science, or a related discipline
• Proven experience teaching physics at secondary school level
• Strong subject matter expertise with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and accessibly
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for education and student development
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities
• Familiarity with Malaysian secondary school physics curriculum (an advantage)
• Strong organisational skills and reliability in managing a flexible schedule
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
