Job Summary

Join our vibrant and energetic team as a Part-time Play Cafe Associate! In this dynamic role, you will create a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for children and their families. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service to children and their families.
• Oversee daily operations of the play cafe, including supervising play areas, keeping play areas clean and organized, and making beverages for customers in a small cafe.
• Manage transactions accurately using POS systems and process payments efficiently.
• Ensure safety protocols are adhered to at all times, including monitoring play areas for hazards and responding promptly to incidents.
• Facilitate event management for weekend birthday parties, coordinating setup and cleanup as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the play space, food service areas, and retail sections.

Requirements

• Must be available on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays)
• Experience working with children in settings such as childcare, education, or entertainment environments.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor.
• Ability to manage conflict positively while maintaining a calm presence under pressure.
• Previous barista experience is a plus, but not required.
• Familiarity with retail sales and customer service is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills suitable for guest interactions.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
